Photography.
one day, it will be art again. for now, i'm still working on it.
Detailswe4sake Photography
Detailswe4sake photography is my free-lance photography business. Running a business is hard, but I want to keep doing it! I love what I do, and I love helping other people. Photography is so challenging, and yet so artistic. There's treasure on every face, in every smile. I love the wonder of it all.
" I believe in little things
That you can hardly see
Like honeycomb and spider webs
And starfish in the sea ...
...I believe in little things
Like you and me
And just how big
Little things can be "
-Sesame Street
I prefer the term "Time Designer".
My name is Chimene Jackson, and I have a passion for photography beyond words. Though my love for photography began at age 12, I have had a camera in my had since I was three years old. Most of my life was spent avoiding the camera because of my parents' insatiable desire to photograph me in my early years; however, I credit them for instilling in me the love for capturing life's little moments, which might seem mediocre, but mean alot 10 years down the road...
My goal is to make photography art again.
After receiving many spurs and much-appreciated compliments, I started Detailswe4sake Photography just this year so that I may express my passion for the photography for others. I want people to feel good before, during, and after taking their photo, and i want them to proudly show family and friends another dimension of them in their photo.
In my eyes, photojournalism is the story of life: unaltered, imperfect, zany, angled, uncmfortable, controversial, agitating, and sometimes frustrating. I have grown appreciative of it because it gives a subject liberty; it creates those 1000 words while leaving the spectator speechless.
I plan on going to college to double-major in International Business and Photography. After, I pray to go back to school to get my Master's in Organizational Leadership and Management, and then get my Associate's in Textile Design so that I may design scrapbook paper, fabrics, and wallpapers (like my idol, amy butler): I cannot wait to see my whimsical childhood doodles come to life! Eventually I would like to work for National Geographic Magazine.
I want to make you feel beautiful
I want to capture time and put it back in your hands
I want to give you memories
I want to produce art

seriously...
Basically I am a self-taught photographer (I prefer the title Photojournalist) with hopes and dreams of going to college and possible triple majoring in what? I’m not sure yet. I definitely want it to include Photography and Business Administration though. I am homeschooled, and I do believe that has changed my entire outlook on life, people, and the ways of the world. I love my family, they’re truly a treasure; they mean a lot to me because they’re my influence, support, my tribe. I am a lovely classic, individual who is not ashamed of who she is. I have goals, aspirations, and dreams, and I do not waver when it comes to someone trying to knock them out of my sight.

verses...
I have been writing poetry all my life. I usually go through these periodical, random spurts of amazing inspiration in which some great pieces can be written, but when those spurts are over, I stop writing. I NEVER force my poetry. Poetry should be smooth, like jazz, so I never write uninspired; hence, why I seem to disappear from MySpace every now and then. I must photosynthesize under the light of inspiration…
If you have any verses you'd like an opinion on leave them in the comment box, and I'll reply. You can read my blog to read my most recent poetry and see what I've been reading/ listening to.
I'm glad you like them my friend. It's just a Minolta Z1 digital. Nothing too special. I am going to get a better camera sometime this year. I can't get into my e-mail right now, but I invited you into A&M Publishing. Please accept and read what is going on. Can't wait to get you involved! Larry Kuechlin =)
