There can be hope only for a society which acts as one big family, not as many separate ones. - Anwar el Sadat
The fluttering of distant memories comes to life through the sounds of Francesco Giannico, whose blend of electronics and acoustic instruments paint beautiful pictures of lost times. His musical approach is described as a cinematic journey which pushes the boundaries of digital media even further by incorporating smooth melodies and gentle textures. More traditional instruments such as guitar and piano are constantly present into Francesco’s music, within interrupted structures or long and dreaming sonorous carpets.
Our first issue to Division Magazine is up. Heres the link and I hope you enjoy. Also as a celebration, were releasing our "Broadway" video. Enjoy both :)
Since you get more joy out of giving joy to others, you should put a good deal of thought into the happiness that you are able to give. - Eleanor Roosevelt

OUT NOW !!! "4 SONATAS FOR ELECTROACOUSTIC THOUGHTS" Music by Francesco Giannico and Stefano Spataro
'4 Sonatas for electroacoustic thoughts' is a microcosmos of modified sounds, folk-derived loops, noise nebulas in which it is not easy to see the light. The soundscapes are rough and elusive, but well-balanced, and never excessive. The work (4 tunes for a total length of about 20 minutes) comes from a collaboration between Francesco Giannico and Stefano Spataro. In a pragmatic sense, the album is a mix of field recordings of an audio/video installation about Taranto's Ilva (made by Francesco Giannico) and electronic oscillations/acoustic hints (by Stefano Spataro). Nonmaterial sounds, layered over and over, folk memories and Interstellar Space strikes clash with discordant string lines and melodic scraps of an unspecified nature... A calm promenade in the unease of sound.
Hay! We appreciate the love you show as well. We've said it before, "A few Kind Words can mean A lot." Nothing better then showing our friends support and hearing from them in return. So thank you for taking the time to think of us, as we try to do in return.
Best Wishes always Ur Friends 28th Division
So long as we are loved by others I should say that we are almost indispensable; and no man is useless while he has a friend. - Robert Louis Stevenson
