Music, travel and politics - I studied Political Science at Cal Berkeley and Environmental law at Tulane but then started a radio station in New Orleans called the Zephyr. I used to do a lot of triathlons having finished twice the Ironman championship in Kona, Hawaii. Sailing, rowing and scuba diving, water sports, there's water all over Miami and LA where I am at the moment so that's good.. .
Please check out a new artist I am working with called Vijay Kishore - he's very special.

Books
It's hard to find time and it's a pity because I won the reading championship in 2nd Grade by a mile. I won a TV set; makes a lot of sense right? Anything by David Foster Wallace. Right now: "Born to Kvetch" - book on Yiddish. "Let's Not Go to the Dogs Tonight" about a young white girl growing up in Zimbabwe. Orwell's 1984 - I suggest you re-read that right now.
Heroes
Grandpa Unruh worked 40 years at the same factory and was late once - in a blizzard. I am late more often than not. When I was 10 it was George Brett of the Royals. Funny I see him sometimes and tell him that and it's strange since now we are both "grown ups". I hear of people doing amazing things all the time and I really admire them but wouldn't call them heroes. Like that rock climber who hacked off his arm to get down off the cliff. Man that takes some cojones.
Who I'd like to meet: Musicians and bands mostly but also producers, songwriters, film makers/directors, authors, artists, anyone in the creative arts/entertainment. I enjoy being the attorney for talented people, since I have no talent myself.
It's not so much who you'd like to meet, because meeting powerful and famous people is usually a let down. They haven't really anything to say to you, since they don't know you. It's more like, who would I want to go on a weekend bender with: Heath Ledger, Bono, Keith Olbermann, Bob Marley, Bill Maher, Sofia Coppola . . . Recently I had a long drinking night with Harry Dean Stanton which was fun. Musicians I have had a couple pints with in no particular order: Ian McCulluch, Richard Butler, Bowling for Soup, Damien Rice, Damon Gough (Badly Drawn Boy), Better than Ezra, Rob Dickinson, The Darkness, Evan Dando, Tres Cool, Craig David, Kid Rock, Uncle Kracker, Travis, Art Mathews (Just Jinger), The Ramones, Jacob Miller, Morissey, The Cramps, The Offspring, Cowboy Mouth, Gwen Stefani and Gavin, Milla Jojovich, Muse (they weren't really drinking much all too young), Mark Morrison, Stephen Stills, David Crosby (whew!), Simon LeBon, Mick Jones . . . from the Clash

Oh well. It was fun being able to wear my Royals gear for two weeks without getting looked at like a newly orphaned, malnourished child with cigar burn scars running up and down my arms. I swear, someone at the Angels game almost gave me twenty bucks for my troubles.
