Channel In Channel Out aka Marcus Cotten has forged a truely original debut with " Contaminate the Optimist " . The first few tracks lull you into a false sence of lofi world, while Marcus' vocal's seem to morph throught the album, at some points almost operatic, and at others you get the feeling that he was forced to record his vocal in a cage next to a sleeping lion. Truely magical and highly original stuff !

It's well deserved. I was hoping that when I graduate in mid-February to take a roadtrip up to Portland, would you be playing any shows, or is it too early to tell?
