North Atlantic Oscillation's "Hollywood Has Ended", from the forthcoming album Grappling Hooks, is featured in this month's Police Box compilation from TenTracks. It's here:
In case you haven't heard, TenTracks is a new music delivery service where you can buy exclusive 10-track compilations for £1, i.e. a mere 10p per track.
This month NAO are in the illustrious company of the excellent Found, Orkestra Del Sol, Fence Collective luminaries James Yorkston and King Creosote and exactly 5 others. Once again, that's £1 for ALL TEN TRACKS. Not bad, really.

oh, MGMT are coming to play THREE gigs here. but they're all in Auckland. it kinda pisses me off. you'd think they could come down here for at least one.
wir sind jetzt im 4. Jahr bei MySpace und ham bisher genau 1 einziges Mal eine Copy’n’Paste Nachricht in die Profile unserer Freunde gespamt, der Rest war immer so persönlich wie möglich. Kein schlechter Schnitt wie ich finde. ;-) Doch nun ist es wieder soweit und das hat gar einen guten Grund, denn:
Wir können es zwar selbst noch nicht so richtig glauben, doch unser großes Debüt-Album „Medicine & Metaphors“ ist seit ein paar Wochen nach fast 4 Jahren der Vorbereitung endlich offiziell erschienen. Not really. Well, yes, but not that much more than it usually does. Luckily, it's low season so there's plenty of flights available. I don't have much choice, it's go on a flight or live on the street.
haha. no. i wish i had some stalkers. i think it would be kind of flattering so long as they didn't try to kill me and cut me into a hundred pieces to eat.
also, i'm not so sure i'm going to be here when you visit. the truth is i've run out of money and i can't find a job. if i haven't got a job by the 15th (when my lease ends) then i'm gonna have to go back to nz..which looks pretty likely. i can't do anything about it. this is life, as they say.
