Hey! Put this on your radar Ravesters!! Chino United Methodist Church will be holding a benefit event on Fri. June 20th starting at 6pm for a youth of ours who was recently diagnosed with cancer. We have some awesome bands lined up and there will be great fun to be had no matter what!!! (Also, if ya want to help out, just let us know! Thank you for all of the prayers and support. I just got home from being down there, things look pretty bad for the sanctuary... organ is gone for sure and we lost several hymnals and pew Bibles to water. However, the cross survived and pulpits and probably many of the pews. Don't know about altar or choir loft. The roof is torn up and there is a big mess from that. We will have service tomorrow, in our fellowship hall and our annual corn feed afterwards. Again, thank you for the prayers and if you want, please feel free to stop by tomorrow. Yes, the Chino United Methodist Church is on fire. The fire dept. is currently trying to put it out. It is most likely arson. The fire started in the courtyard near a rear door for the sanctuary. We have probably completely lost our organ. Our pastor, Glen, was there and called 911 immediately. The fire dept. is still trying to put it out by punching holes in the roof. I have to go down there now, as Steve is there as a rep. for the church and has to stay until it is completely out. Continue to keep us in your prayers, thanks so much. XOXO, Cori
The band we recommended to ya called Eidolon, has a new name. They are now called Set To Sea. You can get to their page by going through mine if ya want. They are fantastic and would probably fit right in at the RAVE. Most of them are 16 years old and are very spirit filled artists. Well, take care and God bless!!
