Okay... so check it like this: I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from Illinois State University. While in school I worked at WZND-FM in Normal-Bloomington, Illinois, as a program director and on-air disc jockey. I am a twice National Media Award nominee from the College Broadcasters Inc. and an Illinois Broadcasters Association award recipient for '06 "Best DJ Aircheck."
Fresh out of college I worked at Chicago’s 9FM “We Play Anything” as a technical producer and the Chicago Bears reporter for the old Steve & Joey morning show. The radio market began to suck, and so I parted ways...
Currently, I co-own the online music magazine, DJBooth.net. I have produced two major mixtapes, conducted over 500 interviews, and covered a few hundred concerts and events. And... I attempt - at least once a week - to bowl a perfect game.
