On August 18, 2007, the Chicago Wolverines lost a teammate. Schaun Scott aka Jigga Man, Jersey Number 82, died in a motorcycle accident. Schaun was a brother to many, friend to all, and one of the most dedicated players on our team. Our mourn is great at losing him so soon, but we will celebrate his life and memories on the field, playing the sport that he loved. Schaun Scott leaves his wife, Neetra, a daughter Makiah and a son, Schaun Jr., along with his entire family to continue the legacy of happiness that he spread through everyone he has met. On August 19, 2007, the Chicago Wolverines traveled to West Bend, WI to play the Milwaukee Rattlers, throwing one last pass to Jigga Man and winning the game 36-0. Our loss is greater than winning the game. To preserve Schaun's memory, the Chicago Wolverines will continue to play and will give shout outs to Schaun, as he will be with us in our hearts and minds forever. About me:
The Chicago Wolverines are an incorporated, pending 501(c)3, not-for-profit organization with the State of Illinois.A majority of the players in this conference have played college football from D1 to NAIA. Semi pro football has long provided an opportunity for athletes to continue their passion for playing this sport. In some cases, players have used this level as a stepping stone for other professional levels. Most often it is a second chance for athletes to continue playing after their college eligibility has been exhausted. These players do not receive monetary compensation for thr efforts on the field. A player's only reward is fullfilling the desire to play a game that has meant a great deal to him. We are looking for young men who have a burning passion for the game of football. Is that you?
