    DH was born in Petersburg, VA and raised in Chester, VA. It was here in Chester he discovered how to play various instruments such as clarinet, trumpet, trombone, tuba, drum set, world percussion, classical percussion, bass, piano, guitar, and computer music programming (just to name a few). He also expanded his taste in various genres, from rock to soul, from jazz to hiphop. He currently studies at VCU with a major of jazz drum set with Tony Martucci and Bob Hallahan for jazz piano. Devonne regularly plays with Skip Gailes, John D'earth, Bob Hallahan, Bungalo 6, Trio de Fuego, the Steve Carter Connexion, Nealiette, REEVERB, Beast Wellington, and Trio of Justice, and has played with John Calisto, Mike Hawkins, James Gates, Billy Williams, Marcus Tenney, Jason Arce, Savage Jazz, DJ Williams Projekt, Dean Fields, NOBS Brass Band, harris Simon , John Winn, and many more... .. .. ..
