Photography, collecting smileys and Adidas Superstars ("shell-tops"), going to movies and concerts, travel...
Oh yeah, and I like to take lots of pictures of myself...

Hip-Hop, R&B/Soul, Dancehall, Reggaeton, Zouk, House, Techno, Rock...whatever sounds good to my ears...Floetry, Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Raheem Devaughn, Dwele, Musiq, Van Hunt, Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Jill Scott, Usher, Outkast, R. Movies
Comedy, Action, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Disney...Coming to America, West Side Story, Total Recall, The Never-Ending Story, The Little Mermaid, The Last Dragon, Brown Sugar, The Shawshank Redemption, Borat, Gone with the Wind, Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Forrest Gump, The Color Purple, Back to the Future (Pt. 1), Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory...I also like those old movies that they re-master and end up having crazy bright colors when they probably used to be in black and white (lol)
Television
News, Reality Shows, Comedy, Documentaries, Cartoons...In Living Colour, America's Next Top Model (when I can), My Super Sweet 16 (so I can hate on rich spoiled brats) and I Love New York are my shows of choice as of late...
I also love watching commercials...Maybe it's my sick, twisted sense of humor that has something to do with it, but apparently it runs in the family...

About me: This 80's baby was born and raised in New York City, where many come to pursue the American Dream. The daughter of a Haitian immigrant and a Southern gentleman, the eldest of four learned the value of hard work and how to enjoy the simple things in life. She excelled in school and tried to be the best big sister three boys could ever want. While listening to music being played in the park that would become the beginnings of hip hop, she often strained to look up at the moon and the stars from her project window. She watched the world from this window - she counted the snowflakes in the winter, admired the blossoming trees in the spring, basked in the summer sun and witnessed the leaves changing color in the fall.
After high school, her mother sent her to Paris, France to perfect her French. Along with the culture shock of living in a new country and trying to adjust to the European lifestyle came the opportunity to experience life outside of the big city she loved so much. When she got homesick, she searched the skies from her window, looking for a familiar star...In time, she made new friends, discovered new music and travelled to new places. With her trusty camera in tow, she took in the City of Lights...From the French b-boys came a renewed love for the "old skool", Kangols and Adidas Superstars. She slowly came out of her shell by taking dance classes and performing in her town's annual talent showcases. Athough Paris became a home away from home, it wasn't home. So home she went...
After graduating from college, the girl with the pretty smile returned to the US, where she worked hard to try to make something of herself. She's still trying...She still looks out of her window at the moon, stars and sunsets...She still tries to capture the world in her camera...Music is the soundtrack to her life...
Welcome to my window.
Who I'd like to meet: People I know who I haven't heard from in ages...Artists with BANGING music that haven't been discovered yet (isn't that why MySpace was created in the first place?)...
Wait a minute, how about we talk about the people I DON'T want to meet? That way, if you don't fit any of the following descriptions, the ball's in your court!
-Anyone who thinks MySpace is a popularity contest and is looking to add people just so they can say they have 10,000 "friends".
-Anyone who's trying to get me to help them get an iPod, iPhone, Gucci bag, SK3, Nintendo Wii, PS2, etc.
-Anyone who got a Victoria's Secret Gift card or makes crazy money doing surveys, or who just HAS to share the fact that their man uses a penis enlarger.
-Anyone who has nothing but big booty, bikini-clad women on their Top List.
-Anyone whose page is on private (unless you send me a message stating who you are, how you found my page and why you want to be my "friend").
-Anyone who doesn't have a photo on their profile (unless I know you and you really don't have any pics...which I doubt anyway).
-Anyone under 18 (unless I know you, I've worked with you, or you're a friend/relative of someone I know), so to all you undercover cops out there, guess what? We're not all pedophiles on this here website!
-Anyone trying to get to know me just because they've seen my boob pics.
Sending me a message along with your Friend Request is a plus. I actually check out your profiles, people!!!
Anyway, I'm a real person trying to meet REAL people! If you fit that category, then hit me up...
