Chocolate Soul Entertainment was founded in 1994 as a multi-genre concert production company. As the main concert property, The Chocolate Soul MusicFest eventually became synonymous with great musical performances in Atlanta, the production vision grew to include a tour property that has visited almost every major city in America. (Atlanta, Dallas, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, New York, LA, Detroit, Chicago with more cities to come).
The Soul Noodle Soup youth outreach program was founded in 1997 as a life choices and music mentoring workshop for young musicians between the ages of 10-15 that is presented by top 40 musicians, singers, producers and emcees.
Chocolate Soul Recordings and Del Solo Chocolate Publishing wings of the company were founded in 2000 to facilitate the need for recording artists to harness their talent and creativity to grow through the art of music and repertoire.
The year 2000 also brought the release of the first Chocolate Soul Music compilation which was heralded as a classic CD that featured original compositions by Seek, Kindred, Julie Dexter and featured internationally acclaimed artists like D-Influence and Satoshie Tomeii and many others.
In 2002, Chocolate Soul Recordings released the second of the Chocolate Soul Music Compilation line that included original compositions from Raheem DeVaughn, The Rurals, Medusa, Fertile Ground and many others.
In 2005, Chocolate Soul Recordings, in association with BornSoulful Entertainment released the "Above The Water" LP/CD
Chocolate Soul Recordings is proud to announce its distribution agreement with Kashmere Distribution for release of the Chocolate Soul: Compilation III CD/LP.
