About me:
Hello Jeff! I'm Chris, and I do stand-up comedy.
Mostly I talk about politics, bringing horrifying scandal to people's attention (but in a funny way!), and trying to inspire the audience to start the revolution. But sometimes I like to be a bit more silly, surreal, dark or weird, as the mood takes me. I also love writing sketches, MCing, and generally talking nonsense.
I started in October 2006, and between then and the end of 2007 I did about 150 gigs. I took a break to save up some money and write a book, and now I'm getting back into it again. "Ooh, how exciting!" - yes, you're correct!
I don't use MySpace much, on account of it being owned by Rupert Murdoch. I tend to blog more than I use this site, so if you fancy it, please give it a read at www.chriscoltrane.com.

Back in 2007, I ran a comedy night in Camden called The After School Club. It was a night dedicated to anything outside of the mainstream - silly, surreal, weird, wonderful, offensive, strange, playful, political, intelligent, experimental and fun.
