    tough call.  tribute acts are usually no fun at all, unless it's a KISS tribute, or something silly like that.  you can't really go wrong with beat happening.

    yeah, music. band of horses was loaned to me by a student. i didn't like it much, but i didn't hate it either. they'd be an opening act, not a ford edge commercial.

    wire! what's with these bands that couldn't make it a billion years ago trying to make it now that music is dead.

    and, as for ian, i was never a fan of the dc music scene. people have tried to turn me on to fugazi for years and i've never heard a song that i could like.

    BUT, i still respect him for all his irons in the fires. ask him when we can officially stick a fork into good music.
