About me:
Guitarist for the band, ION VEIN, co-promoter of the Chicago Powerfest,if you'd like to know more, read on....
I'm a down to earth, fun-loving dude that likes to live life to the fullest without taking it too seriously. Hell, if you can't laugh at yourself, you're in big trouble and I've certainly gotten quite good at it! haha Laughter is the key to a healthy life and I do my best to promote that, enjoy it and make it happen. With all that being said, I'm also a very driven person, driven to make my goals and dreams happen without waiting for someone to hand me them on a silver platter...it doesn't work that way and all my successes in life have come from busting ass so I certainly appreciate and understand that quality in others. Lastly, honesty is the best policy so let's cut the bullshit and get on with it.....rock on!
Btw...this place is for real friends or those that would like to be...i won't accept random friend requests so please send me a message if i don't know you personally. bands please send a request to the Ion Vein page...
ION VEIN LIVE @ METAL MERGENCE III
Who I'd like to meet: Fun, interesting, honest, ambitious, outgoing people who love to laugh and don't take themselves or life too seriously....hold the bullshit, please! Fellow musicians, artists, industry folk, etc., let's talk shop, network, help each other out, save the world or just make fun of each other. :)
Hey brother. Just wanted to say thank you for coming out and showing support. Means a lot to all of us. Take care and I look forward to hanging out again!
I don't know if you have ever heard of the band Deathalizer. Well if you havent you should check them out. The are a very similar style to Ion Vein. i could definately see you guys doing a show together. Their pretty good too
Hey Chris. Hope you can make it out to Doug's in aurora on wednesday! Otherwise we're just going to play RUN DMC covers and tell the crowd that it's your fault. And then people will leave you hate mail for not showing up and forcing Iniquity of Symmetry to play RUN DMC covers all night. And no one wants that.
Think about it... This is serious business!
But no for real. We DO hope to see you there! So.. YEAH!
And Hail right back at ya, my friend. Its been a pleasure meeting you at Wacken (that bumfreaked nest without banking services past noon on Wednesday!! lol) Was great and had a blast! How was the Chicago Powerfest?
Sorry to say I'm not a big fan. Besides for a few cool guitar riffs in each song, I thought the disc is pretty slow. I think the lyrics are silly and simplistic. The drumming is mediocre - certainly not something of a drum God. I like songs 5 & 8. I like it but it's kinda boring to me. It'll probably disappear in my collection. What am I missing if anything?
