FAO bands wanting to add me - I'll only add you if I really like your music, no offence. I had a huge rant about music on here until recently but it was starting to take up far too much room but in brief this is what it said -
Have a look at what I like. No Oasis/Beatles/Libertines soundalikes, moronic metal, emo, soft rock, AC/DC / Guns & Roses (though I am a fan of their early stuff) wannabes, dance music with some dopey sounding girl warbling over the top, hip hop going on about bling & putting a cap in yo ass (please listen to how good Public Enemy were), Coldplay/Killers etc stadium rock tedium etc etc etc will be entertained. Neither will bands that sound like whatever the latest 'indie'/NME sensation is at the moment, ie The View, Arctic Monkeys (though I am a fan), Pigeon Detectives, Klaxons, etc etc etc Thank yew.

I'm happy to announce that my new album "Songs From The Films Of David Lynch" is out now.
"Truly unsettling and perplexingly brilliant... testament to both the quality of Lynch’s soundtracks and Truax’s talents" - The Skinny
"Truax is paying homage to a kindred spirit with this album. It's the best kind of tribute – affectionate and respectful, but with its own quirks and imaginative leaps and its own distinct identity." -The Scotsman
La Folie are having a launch party on the 8th of June at The Forum in Sheffield! £2 advance tickets/£3 on the door! Plus the added bonus of if you film some stuff from the night of us, you or anything else connected and send it us, we will send you a free copy of 'Risus Sardonicus'
