About me:

Encyclopedia Britannica, Anno 2061: Christopher Walsh (b. July 1, 1974) played quarterback for the Chicago Bears, and led them to three consecutive Super Bowl victories. In the off-season, he divided his time between starring in major motion pictures, performing in the best-selling rock band of all time, and writing novels that will live through the ages. He has won five Grammys, seven Academy Awards, and three Pulitzer Prizes. During his acceptance speech for his second Nobel Prize (special category: World Awesomeness) he punched U2 frontman Bono in the eye, thus bringing about an unprecedented era of world peace. After retiring, Walsh served five consecutive terms as President of the United States. He currently resides on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia with his wife Amanda, and several concubines.

Receive wisdom direct from the font at Christopher M. Walsh.com. (It's Chris' blog, but he is far to cool to admit that he has one.) Go on, touch it. You know you want to.

Also, check out his (and several other writers') musings about all things Chicago on Metroblogging Chicago.

Who I'd like to meet:

People who are smarter than me, or people who are as smart as me but disagree with me sometimes. Stephen King. Anyone willing to give me enough money to quit my day job, really.

Ha! Yeah. I remember that. Oscar has been pestering me to tell him when his brother's birthday will be and it frustrates the crap out of him when I say "I don't know yet! It could be today. It could be tomorrow. Whenever he decides to be born.

This will be our first reviewed show, so we're pulling out all the stops! Plus the other bands we're playing with are awesome! It will be very strange, it will be very anti-hork-mangler-esque and it will also very prevent genital gangrene...

    Dude.
According to the Global Shark Attack File some dude named George Lawson was attacked, and bitten in the right leg by a fresh water tolerant bull shark off the beaches of Chicago in 1955.

    That's either AWESOME or SCARY.

    Or both!

If you've never been to one of our shows, this'll be the one to see! The new band configuration is tops and there's not a hint of inter-dimensional porkchop resin to mar the passion.
