Hmm... an unending and frankly geeky obsession with dillapidated synthesizers and drum machines, trying to make the strangest noises possible with obscure software, playing the guitar very badly and then attempting to coax that into some kind of industrial tekno... This of course also involves listening to said tekno in every different state imaginable to check that it works. And visiting an unending selection of parties, purely to research of course...

Drinking... Ooh yes that's a prime habit, in pubs, in the park and occasionally even in bed! Particularly Cider. Tekno Goblins like Cider. Magners in the pub, Olde English in the park and in bed, and Scrumpy if there's any going. And Guinness. And Real Ale. And Tequila and Baileys. In fact I might as well just admit it: anything that's about. Except lager. Lager is Piss

Sociology and Criminology, particularly when I'm pissed enough to not care that I sound like an obnoxious know it all who really has very little clue about anything... ...or when I realise I really have to do some work for my degree.

Various wierd nonsense like City Magick and Urban Shamanism, Astronomy, Psychopharmacology, Philosophy and again probably mouthing off lots when I don't really know half as much as I'd like to think

Making and sampling a variety of noxious brews, Trying to make tomatoes grow on a North England street that gets no fucking sun, making things out of flouro stuff to make clubs and marquee's look pretty, Learning about string patterns

Suburban Acid Saturation plays live acid tekno. Proper oldskool live, that is. None of this lap-top bollox - this is drum machines, samplers, live synths, cables and distortion

I am also Steward Co-ordinator and an organiser for Northern Green Gathering, a not for profit camping event promoting green campaigns, sustainable living and alternative energy. This takes up far too much of the time I have and gets quite addictive.

Techno. Metal. Smattering of Punk. Odd bits of hippy bollox like psy-trance and dub and shite.

Currently overplayed are: Liberator DJs, Mark EG Live in Brazil, PWEI, NIN, Left for Dead, Skindred, New Model Army, Anthrax, Murder Dolls, Dimmu Borgir, The Damned, FSOL, Hate Eternal, Infected Mushroom, Ministry, Monster Magnet, Lab4, Tabla Beat Science, Halluginogen, Astralasia, Carter, Christy Moore, The Sisters, Dvorak, Skyclad, Neds Atomic Dustbin, Dirty Bass/Voidloss, Chilli Peppers and so on and so forth. Lots really so long as the talent is in the musician not the marketing...

Escape from New York, Star Wars (all of them, shamelessly), Bladerunner, Starship Troopers, Alien, Hardware, Strange Days, 5th Element, The Matrix... ...you get the picture?

Actually I like loads of films (ChickFlicks and Teen Comedy excepted maybe) but never have the time to watch them as much as I'd like. But I am a sucker for space ships and big machines...

Oh and The Breakfast Club ROCKS. Is that a chic-flick-teen-comedy..?
