chris and the other girls is the name fabian proposed, when i told him that i wanted to start a solo project. i just felt like finally having an opportunity to sing and record all of the slow songs i had written during the years of beeing the lead singer in dressy vagabonds and i got their support from the beginning on. as i moved to vienna in that period and dressy vagabonds still lived in bolzano (italy) i never even thought about them playing in my new project too. so i kinda started playing some solo shows and recording my first acoustic demo.
as i got to know some musicians here in vienna i started asking them to play live shows with me. as i never wanted chris and the other girls to become a band with fix members all of the shows were kinda different and still are. most of the time it's band shows with drums, bass, guitars and stuff, but sometimes it's still just vocals and a guitar or upright bass. depends on club and mood. and yes, this is probably the only way to keep myself happy as i always love to try new stuff.
