Singer/songwriter Christopher Barber has shared the stage with a variety of recording artists, including; Sister Hazel, Edwin McCain, Thin Lizzy, Robin Trower, The Marshall Tucker Band, Deborah Gibson, NRBQ, Deep Blue Something and Flock of Seagulls. As a young musician, he discovered the fretless bass at age 15, drawing style and rhythms from exposure to rock, R&B, soul and later, jazz and fusion. A passionate student of music, Christopher continues to explore new avenues of music, now as an acoustic guitar player and composer.
"Picking up the acoustic guitar and starting to play all the cover tunes has really helped in my music. I've become a little more profficient as a guitar player and since I've been able to tap into some of the nice broad-sounding chords that I always loved hearing on a piano and I've been able to focus my attention on tone and expressiveness in my singing too."
