"In my humble opinion, anybody can rap, but not alot of 'rappers' can actually rap good" says the 19 year old emcee by the name of Chris Barz from Prince George's County, Maryland. Yet, Chris is not just an emcee, he is also a producer, poet and pianist whose popularity is rising up in the DMV. "I make people want to listen when I'm rapping, they say, 'hey check out this little guy, hes really good!". But maybe "really good" is an understatement. Even though Chris is as humble as a bee, he can lyrically BUZZ and spazz on tracks and freestyles. From his Uber-fresh delivery, charisma, lyrical brilliance, swagger, and amazing wordplay to his hip-hop and jazz production style, Chris is simply...amazing. He is very musically inclined which is rooted from when he started playing the piano at age 3. He has been a fan of hip-hop since his early childhood and it shows in his music and story telling ability. "He knows his hip-hop! He's fresh with it...he's reminiscent of Q-tip and sounds sort of like Big L mixed with Jay Z...all I have to say is his swagger is off the hook!" says a newly converted fan who heard him rap at DC's Pure Bar & Lounge on U Street (formally known as Bar Nun).
