Influences
Many great songwriters and singers including: Buddy Holly - Roy Orbison - Dion Di Mucci - Elvis Presley - Simon and Garfunkel - Split Enz - Guy Clark - Patsy Cline - Bruce Springsteen - Steve Earle and the man who taught me to eat, taste, savour and share my words, the Poet, Tony Harrison.
Chris has recently teamed up with Steve Simpson and they plan to record their first album together ('This is The Life') very soon. They will be performing their new, original, acoustic/folk/country/blues songs 'live' for the first time on 13th July at the National Theatre.
"Come along and let us know what you think!"
Chris Beck was born and raised in Greater Manchester and recently moved to Oxfordshire. As a singer -songwriter, writing and singing songs the only way he knows how, he expresses and shares his feelings, experiences and tales be it autobiographical, true, or a simple metaphor that emotes and connects unashamedly and openly from the heart.

I've had the pleasure of working with Chris , and i must say without even a hint of being sycophantic (for those who have'nt heard much of his stuff), that he truly is a fantastic musician ... I love his lyrics , I don't know how he does it but he manages to blend British sincerity with great a sounding Country rock/blues feel ....! keep it up Chris mate !
