About me: I am lucky enough to be from Nebraska. I went away to college, served in the Peace Corps, served in the Army, and then came home. I raised my family here and spent over 20 years serving the Legislature. Now I'm running for Mayor to provide the leadership and vision to build an even better Lincoln.
Who I'd like to meet: One of the best things about running for office is all the people you get to meet and share ideas with. I just wish there were more hours in the day so I could meet more of the interesting people who make Lincoln the great city it is.

Check out the news piece about Chris using MySpace:
This page is dedicated to the individuals coming together to bring new leadership to Lincoln. The campaign greatly appreciates the support of all of Chris’ MySpace Friends, but the opinions and ideas expressed in their profiles are not necessarily those of Chris Beutler nor his campaign. While both friends and volunteers are welcome, Chris Beutler strongly opposes using MySpace for any illegal activities or the depiction of any illegal behavior.
Hi Chris - I wanted to make it to your event held a while back in Fallbrook. I live there now. Good luck in your race, would love to put a sign in my yard for you. ~Darcy Lindner (Vicki's daughter)
I wish you the best of luck with the campaign, and I am looking forward to voting for you. I hope you are finding the work I did for you during my internship a couple of semesters ago useful in your endeavors. Also, vote by mail rocks, thanks!!
I've meet Roger Yant in person and I am very hesitant about someone of his character obtaining any sort of leadership role in Lincoln. I was hesitant about the whole Myspace in politics but after seeing you on here I researched your politics and give you my full support. Good luck Chris
I am a buisness man, and I must say good idea to use myspace to get internet audiences to vote. As long as you do not do the same things as Johanns, you have my vote, best wishes
"I am running for mayor of Lincoln for all those people who love Lincoln and who know, in their hearts and in their minds, that it can be better -- much better. They know as I know, that this city needs LEADERSHIP to become truly great."
Yep... I think you hit the nail on the head. You have my vote
It's funny I probably would have not marked down a name for the mayor of Lincoln but know that you added me as a friend you deff. have my vote for sho.
Hey, I was wondering what you thought about the plans the 2015 Group has thought up. Good idea, bad idea, a step in the right direction? It looks to me like these plans may be the most important thing we have in securing Lincoln's future, and I'd like to hear your ideas. I'm glad you're running for mayor. Good luck to you come May.
