Thanks for visiting my page. Be sure to visit my actual website at www.chrisbrooks.com. As you can probably tell, I am a guitar player from Sydney, Australia. The journey began as a teenager when the amazing guitar work of the mid to late 80s was the done thing. I got swept up in the wave of this new standard of rock guitar music and consequently as a young man the big players of the day made a huge impact on me. I also listened to lots of melodic rock, fusion, (good) pop and a tiny bit of jazz and I think these have contributed to the melting pot. In particular guitarists like Kee Marcello, Vinnie Moore, Brett Garsed and Frank Gambale have helped me develop what feels like my own ever-developing voice on the guitar, and my preference for creating instrumental music.
My work centers around my solo recordings but I've also done session work including guitar work for other artists and also theme music for radio announcers. I've been blessed with the worldwide response to my debut album "The Master Plan", which has also led to equally blessed experiences with members of Black Sabbath/Heaven & Hell, Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising force, LORD, Age of Nemesis, Feeding The Addiction, Erik Norlander and now my new live band. I've also been very lucky to have had some coverage in magazines like Burrn!, Metal Hammer, Sweden Rock and Young Guitar, and more recently on the Sunrise TV show in Australia.
I'm writing a new instrumental CD at the moment and also getting an awesome band together to try the new material and the "classics" on the live scene. Please frequent my site(s) for updates!

You are a very talented and accomplished guitarist and I have always liked your style.
I wish you the absolute best with your new album and I totally understand that sometimes it takes longer than you would like, but when it's right by your standards it will be worth it!
