About me... well I am not that complicated of a person. I am 21 years old, and I was born and raised in the metro area of St. Louis MO. In June of 2009 I moved to the wonderful city of Nashville, TN. It was the best choice I ever made in my life I really feel like God delivered me here!

I love music, and I love going to see artist perform live. I like to feel the passion, and the love that they feel for music while on stage.

I write all of my music that I sing and record. People on myspace have been gracious enough to write instrumental tracks for me to record my music to, and they all have and will always receive credit for doing so. I am forever grateful!

What inspires me? Well I think it would have to be emotion, every human being has emotion, and its just how you express it, and I have chosen to write music.

I get most inpsired? I would say the bathroom/restroom. I always seem to walk out with a melody, and lyrics. I know its crazy, but it works for me.

Do you run your myspace? I do, and will always run it no matter how successful or unsuccessful that I get. I feel that people relate to artist that are real, and I am so why would I stop no matter where I get in life!

Why can people relate to you? I think that people can relate to me because I will never try to be something that I am not. For instance I will never write about giving birth, because obivously I will never be able to carry a child inside of me lol.

When did I start singing? I started singing when I was about five I fell in love with the radio and started singing along. Ever since that moment I joined music class, and choir. I then started looking in to being an artist, and the rest is history.

Where do I see myself in five years? Well I see myself as any other artist growing, and hopefully doing shows and possibly. I'd like to have a song on the radio. Which would be crazy, but I really think anything is possible. Please just hold on for the Chris BurkMenn ride, and see where it goes!

I once read in reader digest an interview with Uma Thurman, and there was an interesting statement she made. " Beauty is not yours its a gift, and it is not yours to keep. It will be taken away, so don't get use to it or use it as a crutch to count on it." I live my life by that statement, because you should never take anything in your life for granted. It will all be taken away. Your life could end today so live its as if today is your last day...because it might be.

There are four things in life that I love more than anything. They are:

First and foremost God, his love, and belief are more important to me than anything else. His love is everlasting, and I feel it everyday.

Music its a passion, and I love being able to write and record my music for people to hear is beyond amazing. I love that music is so evolutional, and it has the ability to change. I dislike when artists limit themselves in box and don't explore all music. That's why my style is always changing in music, I change my clothes everyday why not change my music with it!

Family, I am so close with everyone in my family because they believe, and most importantly love me everyday of my life: Dad, Emily, Mom, Grandma Carol and Grandpa Larry, and Butch and Paula, and lost loved ones Grandpa Frank and Grandma Pat.

I have four sister can you believe that lol. Lindsay, Alexis, Melyssa, and Mackenzie. Their love, and support has continued to keep me going.

Finally People, ever since I was young I have always been able to connect, and understand where people are coming from. I love to hear stories, and share stories with people. Being able to walk into a room not knowing anybody, and walking out knowing everyone is not even a challenge. I just feel that many people are in it for you to make it in life so why shouldn't I be in it for people to make it in life.
