1972- I was born May 5th to be exact.
1977- I saw Star Wars. Wanted to be Chewbacca. Got Kiss Alive 2.
1982- I got the drum bug, I can’t really explain it. I just knew it was what I wanted to do. I had this telescope so I removed 2 of the legs and they were my first drumsticks. I made a make shift kit from a bookshelf and 2 lamps. Saw Alex Van Halen playing drums and that was it!
1983 to 1990- Entered Eagle Rock Jr./Sr. High School. Got into band and playing drums became real. Kept getting kicked out of band, lack of discipline. I tried the football team. Thought it would be a good way to meet chicks. I broke my leg, back to band! Got into Senior Jazz Band and it got serious. At 15 my dad would take me to Jaxx, a jazz club in Glendale California and get me to sit in Sunday nights. Had a mullet, wore a vest, and Z Cavaricci pants. A complete cry for help! Started hanging with Latin sax player Justo Almario. He taught me a lot about music and life. Sat in with his band a lot my senior year of high school. Took some lessons but basically I am a self-taught player. Learned by watching other drummers. Won the Herb Alpert Scholarship when I graduated.
1990 to 1992- Spent the next 2 years playing and trying to go to college. I never could get it together. I just wanted to play music. I started venturing into Hollywood and gigging with bands and started recording for people and playing in bands.
1992 to 2000- The bands:
Stranger Than Fiction,
Mind Heavy Mustard,
Zelda,
Agnes Gooch,
Co.,
Cleveland,
Deborah Falconer,
Chris Stills,
Gregg Camp From Smash Mouth,
Mother Tongue,
Citizen Cope,

2001- Joined Orson and played Hollywood relentlessly. Played showcases, made demos. Decided to make our own record.
2004- Recorded Bright Idea with Orson for $5,000 in a friend’s house on
Melrose (east of Western).
2005- Got invited to play the In The City Music Conference in October. Got a deal with Mercury/Universal UK in November and toured with Duran Duran in December.
2006- Released the same album we made for $5,000 bucks. Toured the UK and Europe supporting Bright Idea.
2007- Orson won the Britt for International Breakthrough Act. We recorded and released culture vultures
2008- Touring with OZOMATLI

Oooooooh, which island(s)? If you are on Maui, I highly recommend Keawakapu Beach in Wailea... if you can splurge on a night at the Four Seasons Wailea, you don't regret it. Oh, and the Road to Hana is well worth the time/trouble (it's a full day)... the black sand beaches along the way are amazing.
On Oahu, only one beach *really* matters! -- Police Beach on the North Shore, that is where they shoot "LOST"!!!!!!!!!!
FYI: "poopknife" has been my favorite addition to my vocabulary this year!!! i don't know how i've gotten by without it up until now. hope your doing great and have a merry xmas. give michelle my best : ) see you in 09
