Sonic Records Showcase presents our new National Band Talent Search TV Show that will be airing right here in NC on WCWG-20 starting in October. We plan to keep this show here in our home state and focus on all the great bands like CHRIS CHURCH and others that can be found right here in the Carolinas. We need support for the show so we can solidify this venue and others and we can keep running this show for years to come. So come one and come all to our event and enjoy a great night of music and help support the local music scene and help this show to be a success. You might even get on TV!! We are open to all bands to submit their music or hit us up on our myspace page. We will need alot of bands so you are encouraged to submit for a possible chance to be on our show.

Good news! The brand new powerpopcompilation "Souvenirs" is being released this week! It contains 21 great North American powerpop tracks from 1975-95. You can hear three of the songs that just have been uploaded on our Myspage page. The CD also contains a previously unreleased song by the great Canadian band Pointed Sticks recorded in the late 70..s. It is availabe from Not Lame Records and Kool Kat Musik, and it will very soon be available from CD Baby.
