QUOTES

TELEGRAPH JOURNAL : Fredericton, NB October 2003
"Chris Colepaugh and the Cosmic Crew unveiled In Time, their latest foray into jam band-classic rock fusion. As opposed to most messy jam organizations, Colepaugh keeps his rockin' tightly focused, full of solid riffs and well-structured tunes."

TIMES TRANSCRIPT : Moncton, NB October 2003
"The '70s live on in the music of Moncton's Chris Colepaugh. His new disc, In Time, has the kick of Government Mule and is a fest o' crunchy guitar licks. "

THE CAMPUS : Lennoxville, PQ October 2003
"I've had the pleasure of catching the Cosmic Crew two or three times now and with each show I find myself more and more in tune with the bands morphing style of music. "

THE ENQUIRER : Cincinnati, OH September 2003
" Canadian power trio Chris Colepaugh & the Cosmic Crew rocked the blues at Mr. Pitiful's, the bearded Colepaugh wielding his red Gibson 335 with old-fashioned guitar heroics."

THE EDMONTON JOURNAL : Edmonton, AB May 2003
" The upward direction that Chris Colepaughs career has taken is a sure sign that rock music fuelled instrumental intensity does have an audience in Canada."

SUMMIT UP: Banff, AB May 2002
" Chris Colepaugh has that same addictive sound that music lovers will quit their jobs and load up their VW vans for, and spend days on the road just to trade stories with other fans and to be present at every show."

REVERB: Halifax, NS October 2001
" Monctons quadruple C has gone through many changes since 1995, and TRIP is evidence of all the blood, sweat and miles the duo of CHRIS COLEPAUGH and LYNN DAIGLE have witnessed. It is a well-crafted and serious piece of blues rock jammery."

EXCL.. Toronto, ON December 2001
"Moncton's Chris Colepaugh and Lynn Daigle are the Cosmic Crew, and they transform this Eastern community into a rolling and rocking landscape where one swears they can actually see the Golden Gate Bridge off in the horizon."

SOOTODAY.COM: Sault Ste Marie, ON - October 2002
"They have been called one Eastern Canada's hardest working bands, and Colepaugh himself has received high praise for his soulful and passionate guitar playing, as well as his songwriting. Imagine Bachman Turner Overdrive meeting the Grateful Dead and you will start to get the picture. They rock, they groove, they play the blues and they are not to be missed. See you there."

About CHRIS COLEPAUGH AND THE COSMIC CREW
CHRIS COLEPAUGH AND THE COSMIC CREW are blazing a trail with their new album In Your Backyard. The album drips with thick electric guitars, Bonham-esque style drums, massive bass, and soulful songwriting and lyrics. From the heavy guitar-soaked-rocker-single Caught Up To You , to the acoustic guitar/mandolin picking of No More, In Your Backyard is a fantastic guitar-intense, southern jam rock album that will invigorate both young and old fans.

There are great moments on this album, such as the tune "Summer Nights" where you can hear Colepaugh creating a dreamy Zeppelin style instrumental landscape on pedal steel, and Running Out with its drum-driven-rocking-groove and tongue-and-cheek lyrics. Hard to Say is a head-nodding southern rock chill-out complimented by the guitar layered, richly textured and slower tempo California Mountain.

In Your Backyard is successful in proving the scope of CHRIS COLEPAUGH AND THE COSMIC CREWs musical dexterity, and the band always leads the listener back to what they do best: rocking hard. With this new album, their solid line-up and a killer live show, fans of CCCC will now be able to enjoy the bands powerful tunes on CD as much as they do live.
