History
Born in 1973 Christopher Fabbri, Chelsea, Massachusetts USA
Chris was raised in the suburbs and in the inner city of East Boston.
As a child, Chris would travel through the New England area,
to visit his grandparents on Stearns Pond in southern Maine,
where he first became inspired and enlightened with landscapes.
Chris also traveled through California to paint scenery and is also
building a portrait portfolio with drawings and paintings
of musicians, celebrities and influential figures.

Chris is the grandson of late artist, Joseph Febo Fabbri (1911-1996),
who was born in Northern Italy and produced drawings in the 1920's.
Each piece has the school ink stamp, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, Scuola
Di Disegno, Per Gli Artieri, Santarcangelo Di Romagna, Rimini
.
Chris personally acquired his grandfather's private drawings from Italy,
shortly before his grandfather's natural death, a few months prior
to graduating from art school in 1996 in Boston. Chris plans on
curating his own grandfather/grandson exhibition in the future.

Future Exhibition
2011 SacredStones.org, New Clairvaux Abbot portraits, Vina, California

我想認識:

2009 Dom Eusebius Wagoner, Bernard Johnson and Thomas X. Davis
First three Abbots of New Clairvaux, acrylics on canvas, painted by Chris Fabbri
Featured in a Cistercian Trappist monastery, winery in Vina, California
as a part of the SacredStones.org renovation project,
a reformation of remnants of a 12th century Spanish abbey,
Santa Maria de Ovila. These three portraits will be showing
in the newly constructed chapter house, complimenting the plans
and work of the Benedictine monks now living
on their blessed vineyard since 1955.
A San Franciscan, William Randolph Hearst (1863-1951),
had bought the stones of the abbey and shipped them to
the San Francisco bay from Guadalajara, Spain in 1931.
The stones laid in the Golden Gate Park for over 70 years,
until recently the remnants were trucked to Vina, California.
Now standing again in the original form and purpose,
the estimated time for completion is Summer 2011.
When finished, this will be one of the oldest
free-standing buildings in the United States.
