I was born, I grew up, I learned to play a guitar at some point. I developed my own strumming technique through long practice and I don't think I sound like anybody else.
I also do Shotokan karate, help teach on occasion, and think of myself more as a martial artist than a musician.
I went to school here in Corvallis and then went to UC Berkeley and studies East Asian Languages ('93), then moved back to Corvallis, moved to Portland, moved back here, doing a long variety of jobs.

no need. But anyway, I may be up there again this weekend, and thanks again for letting me sleep on the floor, because I'm going to some important classes up there, and it's easier than driving up, plus you have fun friends.
