Chris Goldfinger helped formed a party sound called Soul Symphony Disco, whilst just graduating from Jamaica College. He earned himself the title GOLDFINGER, cuz of his mixing and scratching abilities, he then went on to part time DJ on Squad 51 from Coreyville Gardens with the legendary Oney. Chris then came to the UK and formed his own sound The Asha World Movement, which to this date is the most consistent of all sounds and still on the top of things, no sound in the UK plays out more than the Asha World Movements, because of Chris' huge dancehall status, he was approached by Westwood to join up with the BBC Radio One team, which he has done for 10years now. Radio figures has proven that no other show anywhere has a larger dancehall audience than Goldfinger's show. The most popular in Europe. He has won Silver in the Radio Sony Awards, and has now joined the team at MTV to bring to you the ever popular Pimp My Ride OVERDRIVE series on the net. Chris has toured almost every continent with his Dancehall crew, he is an ambassador to The Gambia and was requested to meet the president there. He has been the forerunner of Dancehall in the UK, cannot be touched by any other in this field, Chris considers himself a DJ on the Radio...not a Radio DJ....listen to him on BBC Radio One every Sat. midnight till 2am, Chris dictates the pace of the show, this is the TRUEST form of Dancehall not a diluted show like the rest, that's what gives Chris's show the distance over every other radio show........IT SELL OFF!!!!!!!
