Chris Grano is a promising young singer/songwriter from Chicago, IL. Exciting stage performances include appearances with Sister Hazel, The Verve Pipe, Duncan Sheik, Christopher Cross, Sponge, Lucky Boys Confusion, Rebecca St. James, Casting Crowns, and Audio Adrenaline just to name a few. Media appearances include performing live on Mitch Albom's national radio show (author of "Tuesdays with Morrie", "The Five People You Meet in Heaven") and live TV performances on “Take Five” (WZZM Grand Rapids, MI). Chris and his music are also featured in the independent film "Next In Line" by Vapor Vision Pictures.
Chris, with his band, American Accent, has recorded two albums which have sold 2000+ copies to date, piquing the interest of Epic Records and Sweden’s Atenzia Records. The most recent album “Born to Lead” is produced by Sponge frontman Vinnie Dombroski. Cuts from this album have been featured on several national compilation albums, radio, and TV.
After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Music (Vocal Performance) from Cornerstone University in 2006, Chris returned to Chicago to study Music Business at the Graduate level. Now living in Nashville, Chris is taking the next steps in his songwriting career.
