Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Chris James has devoted much of his life to making and performing music.
With a rustic and heart felt vocal style, tasty guitar work, and knack for writing undeniably catchy tunes, Chris James delivers his story in song that is reminiscent of such influences as Springsteen, Tom Petty, Ryan Adams, Neil Diamond, Mark Knophler and Jim Croche; blending Rock music with the Blues, Country and Soul.
His material has been played on a host of Radio Stations including 107.7 The Bone, 91.1 KMUD, 90.1 FM, and KGO 810 AM. He has also had songs in commercial placements seen and heard on CNN and other cable networks.
Chris James has performed coast to coast as a solo act and in recent years most notably as front man for the popular San Francisco Rock outfit Small Change Romeos, whose notoriety made way for a music placement deal with Gotham Records (NYC) and also landed them a spot on SIRIUS RADIO in Jan. 2009.
