About Chris Joyner

I'm a singer/songwriter/worship leader from Fairfax, Va. I've been on staff at a great church, Fairfax Community Church, since 1998. My passion is that the corporate body authentically worships the triune God in spirit and in truth through the use of song, poetry/readings, scripture & prayer. Since 1998 I have also been a guest worship leader at Frontline, the young adult ministry of McLean Bible Church. I'm passionate about justice and mercy. My latest cd, Live Worship: The Great Room, is a benefit record for International Justice Mission. IJM rescues the oppressed of the world: girls sold into forced prostitution; children and adults sold into bonded slavery; victims of sexual violence and many other victims of injustice. I love to spend time with my wife Rachel and my two kids, Grace and Andrew. I constantly see my own failures as I try to be a loving husband and a gracious father. Because of this, I'm so grateful for God's grace and mercy in my life.
