My name is Chris and I've been lucky enough to make a living from playing music for over 10 years. I'm a bassist/songwriter originally from north Derbyshire but for many years have been 'all over the shop' from Weymouth to Newcastle to Spain and have just moved back up north to Sheffield. I spent five years studying music, first at Weymouth College and then earned a degree in Jazz, Popular and Comercial Music from Newcastle University. I now teach guitar and bass in schools and privately in S11.
I've played in some great bands over the years. I've been really lucky to gig and record all over Europe alongside some amazing musicians. I have learned more from these than any music course could teach.
I'm spending my time now writing and recording (at home) my original songs. Well, I hope you like the demos and I'll be seeing you at a gig sometime soon.
Chris.
