Na, Servus!
Da seid ihr nun bei einem DJ gelandet der schon seit einem knappen Jahrzehnt durch die Gegend tingelt. Von den "Alleskönnern" gibt es viele. Zu viele!
Genau deshalb distanziere ich mich schon immer (soweit es geht, ohne arrogant zu wirken und damit Gefahr zu laufen nicht mehr gebucht zu werden) von den "Mainstream-DJ..s" und dem damit verbundenen Einheitsbrei. Um es ein wenig zu verdeutlichen: ich höre kaum Radio und sehe nie einen der großen Musiksender. Es geht sogar soweit das ich meist nicht wirklich eine Ahnung davon habe was gerade „Top of the pops“ ist.
Braucht man ja auch nicht, denn geile Songs kreuzen ja sowieso die Wege eines „Musik Junkies“ - meistens noch bevor diese überhaupt in der Rotation zu hören bzw. zu sehen sind...
Meine Sets sind daher bestimmt von Musik die mich bewegt und andere bewegen soll.
Mit einer Top Ten Platzierung hat dies meiner Einschätzung nach nicht viel zu tun! Diese Einstellung hatte ich schon immer und werde ihr treu bleiben.
Das einizige was wirklich wichtig ist: ich liebe es einfach Musik zu machen - schon mein ganzes Leben lang!
In den letzten Monaten bzw. Jahren hat sich allerdings eine klare Linie in Richtung "Electro/Tech/Club/House" abgezeichnet. Elektronische Tanzmusik eignet sich perfekt als kreative Spielwiese; noch besser ausgedrückt: als Abenteuerspielplatz.
Es gibt keine andere Musikrichtung in der man sich als DJ so verwirklichen und seinen eigenen Style definieren kann.
Damit bin ich nun beim eigentlichen Thema:
Momentan sind mein Style und ich auf der Suche nach passenden Locations. Diese sollten vorzugsweise von anspruchsvollen Menschen mit Lust auf Tanzexzesse besucht sein!
Um diese zu finden bin ich unermüdlich unterwegs, kundschafte aus, quatsche mit interessanten Leuten und verschicke immer wieder fleißig Promos in alle Himmelsrichtungen. Es ist mir allerdings bewusst, dass man es ohne die sprichwörtliche Spritze "VITAMIN-B" wahrscheinlich nicht in die Clubszene schaffen kann.
Mit viiiiiiielll Glück vielleicht, aber auf so etwas kann ich nicht warten!

Let me say some words at the very beginning just to avoid misunderstandings:

There you are - on a site of a DJ dashing around the country as an "all-rounder" for almost a decade now. There are loads of them.
That's why I've always tried to be different from all the "Mainstream DJs" playing all the same over and over again (as far as possible - without acting arrogant and therefore not being booked anymore).
In order to clarify it a bit: I barely listen to the radio nor do I watch one of the big music tv channels.
I've even reached the point where I don't really have a clue who's "Top Of The Pops" for the moment.
Nobody needs to know that because great songs automagically cross the routes of a "music junky" - in most cases even before they are on heavy rotation on all those countless radio and tv stations...
That's why my sets are dominated by music that inspires me and others.
In my opinion this doesn't have much to do with a top ten position in the charts.
I've always had this point of view and I'll always stick to my principles.
The only thing that really matters: I love making music - for my whole life long!
During the last months or, respectively, year I've tended to do more in the "Electro/Techno/Club/House" area.
Electronic dance music is perfect as a playground, as an adventure park to say it more precisely. There is no other genre giving you the same possibilities to express yourself and your own style.
At the moment I'm looking for new locations!
