Singer/songwriter and pianist Chris Dye is currently finishing work on his debut album. Born in Leeds, Chris discovered at the age of nine that he could play the piano despite never having had lessons. After High School, Chris attended Leeds College of Music for three years. In July 2003, Chris's father, with whom he had not spoken for three years, passed away. This relationship is documented in the opening track 'Dear Dad'. After selling his father's house, Chris decided to record his first album independently.
The result, 'Skeletons' brings together twelve self-penned songs that Chris considers to be his best to date. The album was recorded at the Townhouse Studios in London and also in Surrey, Leeds and Sheffield.
Track list:
Dear Dad
Marmalade
Family Tree
I Will Be Your Child Tonight
Aeroplane
Risk
Everybody Wants To Be A Porn Star
1994
Voice For All This
Nocturne
Moonbathing
Debris
Release date to be confirmed.
