Margolin and Lusk began playing together in 1997 when Chris was only 15 in Jealous Rage. Over the course of the three years, they gained national attention by placing 3rd in Billboard Magazine's Best Unsigned Band Contest, and playing 200 shows. Three years into Jealous Rage, Margolin left the group to attend college. After five years apart, the two musicians formed a new power trio, Camorra. This group rose to quick success in the Northwest, with an EP, Beneath Your Fragile Smile. In 2006, they added a new guitarist and thicken the hard, pop rock, dynamic that had been formed. Nathan Blank was the exact guitar player they needed. His brand of atmospheric soundscapes, added a new dimension and direction for the group. Even though Camorra was going strong, Margolin decided to leave the group and pursue a solo acoustic career in the local music scene. From 2007-2008, Margolin earned a reputation as a workhorse, playing well over 150 shows, hosting singer / songwriter nights, and releasing two acoustic studio CDs and one live CD. Realizing that his songs were heading in the right direction, he enlisted Lusk, Blank, and new bass player and studio extraordinaire, Gunnar, to help fully craft the new material. This new group became known as Chris Margolin & The Dregs.

I've got a few friends I might be able to get into you guys. They're into the softer stuff, like Nickelback and what not (which I realize is different from your music but you get my point) so I'm sure I can drag them, or have them drag me, to another show. :)
Hey guys, just wanted to pop in again and let you know that your disc is all I listened to yesterday, aside from working on my own tunes and some Rustmine of course. Thanks again!
