Me?... Well...SIGNAL AND SOUND!

I am the frontman for Vancouver band Signal and Sound.

I have been singing, playing and composing since I could crawl and babble and got my first guitar at age 8. I used to find my way into my Aunt Elenors back room as a child and climb up onto the Piano stool and only be able to lift the top of the cover to expose the ivory keys a create and re-create melodies in my head. I used to write poetry and sing it to my grandmother.

I was a good kid but a dreamer....I used to get phone calls home about singing or humming or tapping out beats in the back of class, totally unconcious about how pure the music was for me. So I played in bands all through-out high school and into University.

Signal and Sound formed in early 2006 in Vancouver. 4 middle class kids from small towns found one another in the big city and bonded close friendships with their common histories and love of the music. I was born in New Westminster on July, 9th 1979. I grew up in a small town called Prince Rupert on the Northwest Coast.

I invite you to come and see the raw intense emotion of lyrics and performance and the melodic dynamics that is Signal and Sound.
