Chris McCausland - 7 Strikes
During his life Roy Sullivan was struck by lightning 7 times. That’s just mental! How can you even compete with a story like that... What’s the bloody point.
Pleasance Below at the Courtyard
Aug 5-31 at 8:30pm (not 12 & 19)
Click here to purchase tickets from the official Fringe site!
I will be previewing the show up until the very start of August. Most previews are in or abouts London. If full details aren’t listed for a particular date in the listings section then please do

Thanks! - Chris x
So what do the press say?...
"He has a wit so dry he’d make Death Valley look positively verdant. He has an engaging personality that never threatens us and makes the humour a delight to listen to and finally he has the greatest gift any comedian can have; timing. He delivers his punchlines with all the precision of a Stealth Bomber... McCausland is the genuine article a comedian with a true talent!" - www.EdinburghGuide.com
"Always Excellent" - The Times
"McCausland takes you in gently and while he distracts you with some really good off-the-cuff-stuff, you do not even notice that he has you in his palm for the unexpected whirlwind of his exhilarating wrap up routine. Pure joy." - The Stage
"Terrific Material" - The Scotsman
"McCausland proves that funny is funny whether you can see it or not" - The Guardian
"A Stirling set... elegantly written and engagingly performed" - www.chortle.co.uk

...blah blah blah... | | Movies | One of the things that pisses me off about the Internet is that I've started calling films - movies. I don't seem to be able to help myself, it just comes out and then I have to slap myself around the head!
The Back to the Future trilogy although the third could have done with a few minutes taking off the end.
Apart from that... Pulp Fiction - The Negotiator - Planes Trains & Automobiles - Casino - The original Planet of the Apes and Time Machine - UHF - Good Will Hunting - Tremors...

Red Dwarf, Frasier, Yes Prime Minister, Simpsons, Family Guy, Umpteen Documentaries blah blah blah... |

Chris McCausland's Blurbs |
About me:
I'm originally from Liverpool although I have lived in Surbiton now since 1996 after moving there to study Software Engineering at Kingston University. I graduated in 2000 with a fully deserved drinkers degree of a 2:2 and was basically too lazy to leave the area.
I still don't really understand what the hell happened here but now I'm a stand-up comedian, comedy writer and... Actor??? - Well that ones debatable! :)
...Rather than messaging me through this contraption why not send me an email directly at:

Who I'd like to meet:
Pearl Jam! The best I've achieved so far was when I did a gig in the comedy tent at the Reading Festival and Pearl Jam were headlining the main stage. I got my photo taken next to their tour bus - "Woo-Wee!!" I hear you cry... "Chris met a bus!".
Comedy-wise I would love to be on the same billing as Eddie Izzard or Dennis Leary.
