As a guitarist and singer/songwriter, Chris McCune performs a variety of music styles including Americana, Folk, Celtic, Old Time and Instrumental Fiddletunes. With a relaxed stage presence and unusual repartee, Chris develops a connection with his audience. With his voice, his old-time cross-pickin’ style and a presentation of original works and time proven classics, Chris will give you an evening of first-rate music.
Chris' first professional stage performance was offered to him in 1983. He has performed from the Florida Keys to New York through the South and in Nashville. His array of diverse venues include songwriter’s showcase events as well as bluegrass and televised folk festivals. A long time favorite place to play is “The Flora Bama" and Frank Brown’s International Songwriter's Fest. Recently Chris has brought his music to North Carolina where he entertains audiences with tunes stemming from the Heart of the Blue Ridge.
