Influences
I love so much stuff in the rock, jazz and classical genres, but biggest influences are The Beatles, Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, Ben Folds, and Ray Davies.
Born in Queens, NY, where he began playing piano as a child, Chris McGovern studied classical music and played recitals long before he became a rock musician. Having written songs since he was 22, Chris is a huge lover of music (See 'Influences' if you got a couple of hours), but he especially loves the piano.

Everything is goin' well. Had a good Thanksgiving and I've been traveling a bit. Since I decided not to move out to California at this time, Im traveling to different places. I haven't been able to finish writing a song cuz of writers block. Booo!!! Hopefully I can get something new out soon.

I found your page through another persons page and love what I heard. I really appreciate the compliment it means a lot to me. I get so tired of hearing people cover others songs. Actually truth be told I only know how to play one cover song; I just have too much fun writing my own. I love the challenges that it brings. Anywho, have a wonderful week.

Both.It is Performance Development class.Also we should learn how to teach students.(Composition, creat our website and teach students.) My teacher ask me not just know how to play violin on stage but also I should develop other things.
