To date I have released four completely independent cds of original material. The newest three are available at all major online music stores.
My newest, Taylor & Me, was recorded, mixed and mastered in four hours at Catamount Recording in Cedar Falls, IA. It is a very stripped down singer/songwriter collection of seven songs. The songs were all recorded in a single take, no punching in or editing was done.
My third album, what's next, was recorded and mixed by me in my small home studio over the course of several months. It was mastered at Catamount Recording by Travis Huisman. The ten songs range from a single guitar and voice to full band arrangements. I wrote all of the songs, did all the singing and played all the instruments with the exception of Cello - Pete Smart, and Harmonica - Drew Hayward.
My second album, ready now, was recorded, mixed and mastered in my home studio. The seven songs are all acoustic driven and very stripped down arrangement. I performed all the parts with the exception of Djimbe and Bass on Wasting Time - Luke Harris.
My first release was untitled and featured six songs with a full band arrangement. You can download all the songs for free at www.chrismillerguitar.com.

I'm a solo guitarist and singer/songwriter. I perform regularly at venues ranging from coffee houses and fine dining restaurants to sports bars and pubs to corporate events and weddings. My largest show so far has been over seven thousand people.
At my live shows I play a wide variety of cover and original material on both electric and acoustic guitar. I use a loop station to layer guitar and percussion parts on the spot, nothing is prerecorded. I have had a song from my newest cd played on nation wide and international terrestrial radio.
In addition to my regular bar and coffee house gigs I've provided ambient guitar music for an outdoor sculpture reception, performed at many weddings both in and after the service, performed at private birthday parties and wine tastings. Rates vary depending on the situation.

I'm not familiar with down town Phoenix area, I reside in the northwest valley of Phoenix, we are closer to Los Angeles, as pple say east LA. I know there are things in the surrounding Glendale, Cardinals Stadium area. Westgate. What type of music do you do mostly? Curious??
Hey, thanks for letting me use your guitar. I can tell I need to get a little more use to playing in front of people. I couldn't even really tell I wasn't plugged in and even when I hooked up it still seamed hard to tell what I was playing. All in due time
