Books
WHAT THE HELL ARE BOOKS?
No really I know what they are. Aren't they those things that have all those words put together to make sentences. And there usually alot of sentences put together to make pages, then the pages are all put together, and sometimes they have pictures.....
No really I do read, but not as much as I would like too. I enjoy reading anything that may catch my interest. I don't have a favorite author or genre, but usually I take suggestions from friends/family.
Heroes
My Grandparents (both mother's and father's) for traveling great distances to give their children the opportunity for a better life here. And my parents for putting up with all of my shit as a child and teaching me to not be afraid to take chances in life to get to where I want to be.

About me: I always have a hard time knowing what to say about myself, but here goes...
I'm born and raised in the greater SF/Bay Area (California Native). I'm a typical Libran so I'm told by my friends and family. I Don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. My birthday is October 2nd and my background is Filipino, Spanish, Mexican, and Native American. I enjoy traveling alot and hope to do alot more of it in the coming year(s) . Some places that I have been, Toronto & Vancouver, Canada, Hawaii (Maui, The Big Island, Oahu), Cancun, Mexico, NYC, and a bunch of places here in the US. Some of my dream trips would be Tahiti, Australia, Japan, China, Indonesia, and Europe.
I live and work in SF. Right now I'm working as a grants analyst for a non-profit called Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Their main focus is helping hispanic youth seek higher education by providing them with scholarships. Chekc out their website hsf.net
I am in love with a wonderful guy, named is Tyler. He has made me believe that you can find true love. I used to be cynical about it and always thought I would never fall in love. He makes me laugh and smile whenever I am with him. He hasn't tried to change me, but loves me for who I am. I truly can say that I have found my soulmate, and I'm sure he would agree as well.
I'm really close to my family and they are very accepting of me being gay. At first it was rough because I wasn't sure of how they would react, but they were more accepting than I thought they would be. I try and spend as much time with them as I can. I realize that we are all getting older and I don't want to lose touch again with them like I had done in the past. My parents are the world to me. Words cannot express the gratitude and love that I feel for them. They sacrificed alot for my brothers and I, so much that it would take more than one life time to give them back what they have given to us...
I have a great circle of friends that I have made along the way over the past 10+ years. They were all there for me when my cousin passed away, which was one of their friends as well. Never would I have thought that I would have such a wonderful and supportive group in my life. We've had our ups and downs, but we have all weathered the storm(s) together. I enjoy hanging out with them, grabbing a bit to eat, going out for a cocktail or six, and once in awhile dancing the night away, well not all night. Other things that I enjoy are being outdoors, going to street fairs here in SF, rollerblading, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, exploring my city and finding new things to do here...
Well that's a little bit about myself. I'm always interested in meeting new people, and getting to know them. Looking to make some new friends and making/creating new friendships....
Who I'd like to meet: I'm looking to meet poeple who don't put labels on themselves (you are you, not a label). People who are different from me, maybe you can teach me something new. I'm always interested to learn new and different things. I'd like to expand my circle of friends, and hopefully create new friendships....
So I pulled a you and left my job at the doctor's office.I really hated it, and I just couldn't handle the people anymore. This one girl could not pronounce "therapy" to save her life. She was referring people to physical "thurupy". Ugh.
Haha... so I'm out on the job search and once again we're discussing moving to the bay. Who knows, one of these days it might be a whole lot easier for us to hang out!
Chris, I know I lost everyone's stuff too. The reunion was fun, you look great, how have things been? Things here are busy, I would love if you came to San Diego. Let's keep in touch.
what it do. cuz. so me and my parents are comin for thanksgiving dinner on sat. i need an address to your pad. so that i can look up directions. oh and what should we bring??? *jMiNa*
Mr. Mina!! What's up bro? Everything is coo. Yeah it has been a long time from our AHS days. haha. Just been working and chillin. Sup with you what have you been up to?
Haha! I love it. Who knows what craziness will come about. Last time we were drunk together, you were screaming, "I LOVE THIS GIRL! BUT NOT SEXUALLY. EW!" at the top of your lungs repeatedly. :o) I'm thinkin' the cocktails are going to be flyin'.
There has been much craziness lately, you need to come out here and get your drink on with me now that I can finally (legally) drink. I've offically committed a crime now (although I didn't get caught for it). Some guy at Starbucks got pissed about his drink and threw hot coffee all over the very pregnant woman behind the counter, so I got mad, screamed at him, and threw mine on him. It was insanity.
