    City Of Thieves formed during the summer of 2009 when Jason Crockett visited the studio of Chris Hook to record a Gram Parsons song. Once the recording was finished, Chris played his newest track called “Truth Has Eyes.” As Jason listened, he agreed to sing the lyrics. From that point on Chris Hook and Jason Crockett were inseparable in the studio and City Of Thieves was born. Jason Crockett has been spreading his smoky, soulful vocals all over the Seattle music scene for almost twelve years. His passion and mastery of music is unprecedented among other musicians and vocalists in the Seattle area, and even beyond. He not only understands what it means to be a true musician, he exudes originality every time he steps up to any crowd, large or small. Those who have the opportunity to hear Jason Crockett sing believe him to be the best around. Although Chris Hook loves the stage, his true talent comes alive in the studio. His passion for arranging, composing, and producing catchy, yet emotionally charged music, has earned him the nickname “Hook.” His technical knowledge of the studio allows him to create a distinctive sound with every new track. Whether Chris Hook is in the studio, or on the stage behind a guitar or piano, his skill and pure talent cannot be matched.
