I’m a former indie rocker. Which is really just a fancy way of saying "I’m a douchebag."

Neri's Comedian Bio
|
| Bio | Born in NH. Lived in Boston for awhile. Currently living in the Houston area doing my thing.
I'm a musician and a comic. Music I've been doing since I was a teenager and comedy I've been doing periodically since about early 2007. I hit the local open mics when I can and hope to get out more often in the future. I love comedy and I like meeting and hanging with like-minded folks.
I've also made some goofy video blogs which you can find on this page somewhere. I'm too lazy to link it. Sorry.
I like the Rocky movies, the Jason movies, the Ramones, and pizza.
That's my bio. How did I do? | | Website | chrisneri.com | | Influences | Bill Hicks, Larry David, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Patton Oswalt and the rest of the COC, Louis CK, Doug Stanhope, Lewis Black, the Stella guys, pretty much anyone that used to be in the State, Chris Rock (cool first name), David Cross and everyone with Mr. Show, Heneghen, Morgan Murphy, Rodney Dangerfield, Steve Martin, Steven Wright, Hedberg, Eugene Mirman, Todd Barry, Norm MacDonald, Joe Rogan, Tenacious D, Dave Attell, Harvey Pekar, Matt Groening, Shannon Wheeler (TOO MUCH COFFEE MAN), Bruce Campbell, porn, Buckaroo Banzai, SEINFELD, Superman, stupid movies, comic books, stupid internet clips, world events, funny news stories, the public at large, pop culture, the funny local Houston guys that I check out when I do the open mics, basically anything I’ve ever read, seen, listened or watched that I’ve enjoyed. The guys that make it all look so easy are the guys worth paying attention to. I love it all. Unless it sucks. And even then it’s still kind of fun. | | Members | Chris Neri- lead vocals, lead guitar, lead rants, lead jokes. | | TV Shows | I was on X-GAMES LIVE for about 2 seconds once about 10 years ago. Are you impressed? | | Films | Sure | | Albums | Yes |

Various other random autobiographies like "My Life in Tights" by Burt Ward and "Crazy From the Heat" by David Lee Roth. The occasional medical journal or porn mag. Neri's Blurbs |
About me:
I did comedy live for the first time in early 2007 when I finally worked up the courage to try it after secretly wanting to do it since I was a teenager. What drew me to comedy is my love of making people laugh and the fact that all my heroes have been comedians. Plus someone dared me to try it. It's been love every since. My plan for 2009 is to get out and work my stuff as much as possible. Comedy to me is all about putting pretension and ego aside in addition to just plain having fun. Push out the jive, bring in the love and all that. My hope is to one day be a full-time working comic.
Prior to doing comedy I was a musician doing singer/songwritery DIY rock and roll stuff. It was cool but there was a point where I felt a sense of completion and wanted to try other things. Which of course turned out to be comedy. I'm also a family man and I love the Rocky movies, the Jason movies, the Ramones, Superman and pizza. You can check out my website at chrisneri.com. Feel free to stop in and say hey.
