   About Chris Padmore
I'm out and about playing as much as possible - making good use of the live venues in this neck of the woods, where singer-songwriters seem to be growing on trees. The selection above mostly represents my live solo performance although more tracks with a backing band will be added shortly. Our brand spanking new album "The Big Plunge" will soon be available in all the usual places online. This is something I'm very excited about.....the advanced sales and interest level has been awesome!

All 14 tracks were recorded in the legendary Rooftop Studios courtesy of Mr Mick Clack (one half of Nige and Trev). A big thankyou to him and his sliders. The mixing and production (at Imaginary Studios, Summertown) was a mammoth task since lots of great musicians had contributed their talents. The bands line up includes Dave Holmes on percussion, Dave prinold on fretless bass and keyboard textures, Elise Darchis on just about eveything....(Cello, violin. flute, piano, clarinet, sax, trumpet, French horn, and best of all - no ego!)

My songs are about life's ups and downs, chasing rainbows etc.... I hope you like them.

Hi, I've uploaded a new song "My compromise". Enjoy it!

We,the Rampant Flaccidos had major problems with continually creaking headphones during the recording of our neo-reggae/punk/classical opus "Flick The Vs". We have heard rumours on the Rooftop grapevipe that you, Mr Padmore have secretly invented a groundbreaking creak-free headphone system involving folded bath-towels, over-ripe watermelons and caged weasels. If this is the case, we'd like to order 300000000000 pairs from you immediately. Rooftop Ron will be round with the cash in a plain brown envelope sometime before the large Hadron Collider is repaired.

Dear Chris, Thanks for the nice comment! I really loved your act with Linn last weekend in Holland. The 2 voices together plus your guitar created sheer magic. I hope to hear & see you soon again, either in Holland or in the UK.
Keep up the great work!

Dear Mr. Padmore...I, Rooftop Ron, object to the opening lyrics on your recently uploaded Jericho Street Fair Video. To blatantly claim that you are "hanging on a high wire" gives the distinct impression that you are some sort of Circus performer NOT a musician. I for one find this information very misleading indeed and it has outraged me to the point of summoning my neanderthal, club-weilding goons to compassionately demand your P45 from Billy Smart himself.

With eternal love and respect,

Ron

Mr Padmore...you deserve a medal for all your wonderful work in making the 2008 Jericho Street Fair a great success. We know how incredibly hard you've worked in arranging all the bands and the decoration of the stage etc. We had a great time performing with our goonish backing band 'The Snins'and your set with the backing singers was real class. Chris - You're a star!!!
With gratitude and respect,

Mick and Frank

Yeahhh! Yaow-yaowdahh! We really like your bunny song too Mr. Padmore. Could you please put down your guitar and invent a self-repairing deckchair that also makes the tea, cures the common cold and shouts 'Hurrah!' at passing amoebas. The weather is improving and we desperately need reliable, non-fecked-up, canvas seaside seating for our hutch's new seven-dimensional cardboard verandah.

Thanks Chris! We'll be acoustic on the night, however, slightly different noise! Love your Bunny song! See you tomorrow.

Chris -- Why, thanks! I'm just listening to your first song here and you've got a lovely voice. Swell guitar playing too. Thanks for tuning into the Jools show. Maybe I'll see you at a festival this summer, if you do that sort've thing. I'm booked for, like, a trillion of them.

Hi CP, Hope you had a high speed weekend and came home laden with medals as usual! When you get a second check out the new James Bond instrumental on my page...would have been better with some CP vocals on it but I only had a few hours spare on Sunday to create it before the deadline. Aloha ! dB.

I'm outraged! I'm livid! Poor Dave Bowmer now can't go outside because of the snow on your site. This means he has to stay trapped in his house with that insane Chapped-lip Twig guitar-like thing or whatever he calls it. You'd better get an animation of a snow-plough on your Myspace site pronto Mr Padmore or my goons will be strapping on their snow-shoes and trudging menacingly through the drifts straight to your mad-inventors workshop.
Love is everywhere bruv.
