Chris Pierson is a deeply introspective singer songwriter who, like the best of confessional performers, turns life's misfortunes into emotionally riveting music. Finding himself on the hit TV show Rockstar Supernova, Chris was introduced to millions of fans. Although eliminated, he used the expierience as a stepping stone, putting together a phenomanal band, recording 5 songs which became "The Height Of Paranoia" EP.
George Marlow, a native of Georgia has been involved in the Atlanta music scene for over 12 years.
George is a graduate of the Atlanta Institute of Music (AIM), majoring in Guitar Performance, a field that he has excelled in and earned his degree with honors. His most serious influences come from a wide variety of incredible musicians such as Pat Metheny, Kurt Hammett, Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, and of course, Jimi Hendrix.
JAKE KITCHEN
Jake Kitchen is a seasoned studio and live musician with over 18 years of experience. Recording with the likes of Rusty Cobb and Virgin Records in his previous band “Outshine“, Jake is no stranger to the work ethic it takes to do well in this business.
National tour experience has seasoned his skills and his outlook on this particular project. Jake says, “This may be a solo project, but we all believe and contribute to the music and can't wait to put something real out into the world”. With influences such as Patrick Dahlheimer, Aaron Wills, Dirk Lance, and Greg Christian, Jake suits this vision with tight grooves and infectious energy.

Hey guys!
We have another way for everyone to get involved in helping to get the word out about Chris!
..
We need everyone who wants to do this to target other artists fan forums. Almost all of them will have an OT section where you can post about anything...here's what
you need to do:
Go to their OT section and leave a comment about Chris-
you could tell them that since they enjoy (ie....Juke Kartel's) music-you think they'd enjoy checking out Chris as well. List all links for Chris-including his Official page and the Street Team pages,..etc
You'll also want to mention that the EP is available to order...PLEASE do not share any music...but if at all possible insist they buy it for themselves..
One last thing to remember-if you see that someone has already started a thread about Chris...please do not
start another one on the same board-go into the thread already started and feel free to post there...that
will eliminate multiple threads on their boards.
We have had some very good responses from testing this out....it works...let's see what we can do for Chris
by everyone working together on this!

What do you do with a band that in its first year together played over 120 shows, gained national radio, print and T.V. exposure, distributed CD's worldwide all D.I.Y. and made a profit? Well if you're A&R, best of luck. The Chris Pierson Band is quickly becoming known as a trend setter in the way they do business and reach out to their fans.
"We've all been through the ringer more times than we choose to count", the band says. "So we said, lets do it ourselves. Good people are still out there and we still have faith in the music business but when we sign a deal with someone it will be on our own terms".
In today’s market street smarts are a key factor. You can have the latest in technology and extreme focus groups but if you are not giving the people what they want, none of that matters. The Dave Matthews Band, 311, Pearl Jam, and many others before them hit the pavement to establish a grassroots following. CPB has and is doing just that. In the process the band has gained a wide audience. The Chris Pierson Band could be labeled as the next "Peoples Band". Its not often that you see a 13 year old and a 56 year old standing next to each other mouthing the words to the same song at a rock concert. It just proves that true music has no boundaries and no age limit.
"We are not into fads, nor do we portray ourselves as untouchable", Chris says. "We just want to make great music and put our hearts into something that means alot to others. We screw up just like everybody else so I think its fitting that we appeal to such a wide audience. Truth screams louder than anything"
Having already generated a huge buzz within the industry and a world wide audience, these guys are out to do it the right way. "Staying power" is what makes a band iconic and these guys have every ounce of what it takes to be timeless.

It's bean a while since I've popped in to say hello. Just thought I'd see how everything is going and share the first piece of art I've been able to complete in many months. I'm still busy working away on my Novel. I'm halfway through the first rough draft and anxiously looking forward to exhuming mythos, death & carnage of the last half of the epic.
