I Like all kinds of music. Some of my influences are The Beatles, Led Zepplin, Prince, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Bryan Adams, and various 80's Hair bands. Some of the new bands that I like are Matchbox 20, Gavin DeGraw, Maroon 5, Butch Walker, umm.. thats about it.
Thanks for stopping by and listening. The songs above originals of mine, that are in various stages of completion. Some need guitar solos or backing vocals, etc., which I haven't got around to recording yet. The vocals on the songs are guide vocals, which I plan to re-record. Since there is still work to be done, I am calling these versions demo's, and will update them as they progress. Since my originals are piling up over here, I thought it would be good to let some people listen to them and let me know what they think.
Its all about me:
I started playing guitar when I was 14. I basically learned by playing beatles songs, because that was what I was familiar with. There was a time when I was really into blues guitar, and listened to Stevie Ray Vaughn (which I still do), but the blues kinda got stale, and I needed more variety. I don't consider myself a great guitar player, I just plunk around on it and make noise. I have been playing the keyboards for about 3 years now. When I get tired of playing the guitar, I move over to keyboards. I am still having fun with it, and I have several at the house. I play bass only when absolutely necessary. I don't much care for it, and I don't know why. I don't watch much tv, so usually at home I am playing or messing around on the computer. I am a pretty technical person. I notice what works, and like to figure out why. I do all my own recording, mixing and mastering (maybe you can tell). Specs: I use Sonar 7, Universal Audio UAD plug ins and RME Fireface 800 for recording.
HEY! :) Got a show this Friday at the Dandelion in Plymouth! It'll be from 10-2. You should definitely come, we could use the emotional support. HAHAHAHAHA!
I really don't know. The story is kind of a bit more complicated than what I explained, 'cos I forget things. The problem is actually being caused by an EQ that I'm running for the drums and vocals. Whenever I run the EQ, the speakers break in and out. I thought it was one particular EQ that I bought, so I returned it and got another, but the same problem happened. Without the EQ plugged in, there is no problem. I don't see how the EQ could destroy speakers, but I do know that it's more hassle than anything else.
What's goin' on Chris??? lol GREAT show last night! You guys rocked! ALWAYS freaking love playing with you guys! Looking forward to it again sometime! :)

No, I start classes on Wedenday three (3) days a week for five (5) weeks. Then I am going to take other classes to. I feel so much better that I am doing this. I have been in marketing and management for Ten (10) years and I am burnt out. This is the time to do it and not doing anything is starting to drive me crazy.
