Chrissy Lomax's dynamic voice and strong stage presence has earned her a following in both Canada and the United States. Chrissy has toured bars and clubs across Canada and the U.S. playing original material, which range from softly poetic to powerfully electric. From a whisper to a scream she uses her voice to draw you into all her stories.
Since moving to the Los Angeles area from Toronto, Chrissy has performed solo and with her band in clubs and coffee houses. Her music has caught the ear of local radio stations, which have featured her live in the studio and played her recorded material.
Chrissy coaches her vocal techniques with other artists and also works with Japanese recording artist Anri, writing, arranging and performing background vocals. She has co-written material and collaborated with other artists including Lee Ritenour.
Chrissy's song, "Inside My Pocket" from her first CD - 2 Hands On The Wall, won her an honorable mention award in the John Lennon Songwriting contest. On Chrissy's second CD - Im Not Ashamed, her powerful vocals and sing-a-long harmonies are a perfect blend with the aggressive guitar of Jimmy Khoury.
Other than her songwriting and performing, Chrissy is a motivational speaker, a personal fitness trainer and a marathon coach for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. Chrissy has completed over 20 marathons to raise money for cancer in an effort to help save lives.
