About me:
Well, my hubby and I picked just about one of the coldest places to live, save for Antarctica or the North Pole, but we like it here most of the time.

These days, we're both of the insanely busy schedule persuasion between writing and working at Wells Fargo and all that entails (him) and freelance writing (me). And when I'm not reviewing music, movies or books, writing artist bios or a a feature on whatever my editors at Crosswalk.com, CCM Magazine, BurnLounge, Collegiate, Christian Single and more ask for, I've written a couple of novels in my spare time (what's that?). My debut, Around the World in 80 Dates, released in October 2007 and the sequel, Blessed Are the Meddlers hit store shelves in August 2008, so stay tuned for all the latest.
Who I'd like to meet:
Like everyone else, I wouldn't mind meeting Bono. Hugh Grant and Paul McCartney wouldn't be so bad, either. And I would LOVE to make a 30-minute meal with Rachael Ray. Yeah, I'm a dork.

You Belong in London
A little old fashioned, and a little modern.
A little traditional, and a little bit punk rock.
A unique soul like you needs a city that offers everything.
No wonder you and London will get along so well.

Blood Root Mother

Jul 16 2009 10:34 PM

Hello!

I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time a few days ago. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.

There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a video of a new tune called Run Bobby Run:

Let us know what you think!

Peace,
Elliot

Thanks for being a new MySpace friend. It's been a juggernaut, but "IF THE RAINS DON'T CLEANSE" (my novel about my parents' experiences as schoolteachers in 1950s Africa) is finally available on Amazon.com. In fact, it's selling so well it got listed marked "out of stock" this holiday weekend! It's getting strong reviews and a grown-up readership -- I'm thrilled. I invite you to visit my MySpace blog to read an excerpt.

Hey Christa, How are you? All is going good here, my job is excellent. Its actually only for 12-18 months, then they move to Oklahoma City, so we can either trans there (if all is in good standing) or trns to Claims. I may make the move, but don't know yet, I would miss the mountains too much. But on the otherhand I would still have a job, so its up in the air. Our weather here is nice, no snow on the ground, its like summer. I love it. Let me know when your here, we can meet up.

Hey thanks a lot for being our friend.

Hey this is “The Mattrix” and I am the president of South Pawl Records. I want to personally thank you for being our friend. As we gear up to release over 12 CD’s in 2009, I know that we will be nothing without your friendship and support.

Our first release is Joey Witham’s –The Great Homesickness on March 17, 2009. But after that we will be releasing a very cool so cal punk group, a happy core band and a singer from Arizona that can bring the house down when she sings.

If you would like to get involved in passing out CD’s, Stickers, & T-Shirts to your friends, then I invite you to head over to SouthPawlRecords. com and click on “street team”, or you can always just head over to cm1stop. net to get your very own South Pawl Records gear.

Thank you once again for your friendship and support of South Pawl Records!

One Truth,
Mattrix
President of South Pawl Records/MMG, inc.

Just wanted to say hi. Hope life is treating you good. Katie took some fall pics of it out there and it is so pretty. We are still roasting out here, we are still in the 90's. I am getting sick of it though and looking forward to the cooler weather.

Hi Christa

We hope the winter is not too cold for you over there.

Thanks for being friends.

We like to give our friends little tips, so here's one for you.

Never stop to tie your shoe lace in a revolving door.

We hope that's helpful.
